An accountable clinician throughout the plan
SMILE-FX® offers lingual care and combination braces-and-aligner cases within comprehensive, digitally driven orthodontics. Board-certified orthodontists see every patient, including follow-ups. The practice's full-service care has a clear-aligner focus alongside fixed options and the separate custom 3D-printed bracket offering.
Digital planning can make the intended work easier to discuss. Continuing clinical review and a clear route back to the team connect that explanation with actual care. Your orthodontist explains the appliance roles and individual arrangements; a product name does not replace those responsibilities.

Doctor-led care, from planning through follow-ups
At SMILE-FX®, board-certified orthodontists see every patient, including at follow-up visits. Clinical director Dr. Tracy Miao Liang leads a full-service Miramar practice with a digitally driven clear-aligner focus. Your goals, proposed appliance and continuing care belong in an explanation you can understand.

Understand the proposed plan
AI-assisted precision planning supports your orthodontist's work. Before-and-after smile-preview simulations give you a view of proposed changes, so you can point to what you understand or want explained. A simulation illustrates the plan; it is not a promised result.
Low-dose 3D CBCT imaging supports clinical assessment, detection of findings and treatment planning when indicated. The information helps your orthodontist connect the findings with an explanation of the proposed approach.

Stay connected between visits
Smartphone and iPhone monitoring comes standard with braces and aligner plans. You can send progress information from home between visits for clinical review. Remote monitoring also helps flag issues such as broken brackets or aligners that are not tracking, with the clinical team evaluating what needs attention.
With 24/7 access to provider support, you have a contact route when a question or concern arises. Responses are handled through the clinical team's care arrangements, keeping access to support distinct from a promise of an instant reply.

Connect your plan with practical continuing care
SMILE-FX® makes in-house 3D-printed aligners and offers same-day aligner and retainer options. That connects doctor-led planning with a local fabrication route. Your prescribed appliance and individual arrangements determine which option is used.
For continuing care, SMILE-FX® can ship course-correction aligners to your home. Rescue aligner care provides a doctor-led route for people seeking help with a prior aligner course. Course corrections and Rescue arrangements are set individually alongside the clinical plan.
Custom 3D-printed bracket options are also part of the practice's range. Their off-site manufacturing is separate from local aligner and retainer fabrication, so the appliance and its production route stay clear in your discussion.
Care policies confirmed by SMILE-FX®: local fabrication and same-day options, individually arranged home course-correction shipments and Rescue care, and separately manufactured custom brackets. The links below provide service information and general patient resources.

Understand your options and included care
SMILE-FX® offers Invisalign and OrthoFX, including AirFlex, alongside night-time aligner options. The range gives you specific choices to discuss, while your orthodontist determines the system and wear instructions for your individual plan. Commercial systems and in-house appliances have their own production routes.
Fixed and removable retainers plus whitening are included at SMILE-FX®. These benefits belong in the full treatment conversation and written proposal, alongside the active appliance and continuing-care arrangements.
At-home and in-office whitening options give a separate color goal its own place in planning. The appropriate method and personal arrangements are decided individually; the availability of both modes does not mean every person receives both.

Connect general capabilities with your actual proposal
The care model above describes general practice services, including monitoring and support, the offered aligner systems, retainers and whitening. Your written proposal explains the care relevant to your own goals and appliance choices.
In-house aligner and retainer fabrication and general same-day options describe those services. They do not establish manufacture of a lingual appliance, a same-day lingual start or a particular treatment duration. Custom 3D-printed brackets are a separate offering; that description does not identify the InSmile system.
Where the explanations come from
The British Orthodontic Society's patient education supports the tongue-side placement and active-braces versus retention distinction, practical speaking and cleaning considerations, and the importance of an individual plan. These are educational explanations, not comparative evidence about SMILE-FX® outcomes or a personal recommendation.
The official InSmile Braces page supplies the displayed product identity used in the guide. Practice availability and care policies are separately confirmed by SMILE-FX®. Examples that complete a useful interpretation
The guide's fictional examples supply appliance descriptions, a plan explanation, a practical concern or two written proposals, then finish what that information establishes. They are original teaching examples, not patient records, testimonials, diagnosed cases or predicted results.
The aim is to help you distinguish purpose from location, connect appliance roles with an explained goal and recognize what written care arrangements actually say. Your treating clinician assesses your own situation and gives your individual care directions.
